ALRIGHT.
so it's no secret that Ciry is a pokemon maniac. If you didn't know, well, now you do. So, it's recently come across my highly reliable website that I stalk like a creeper on Minecraft, that a new anime is going to be produced for the Pokemon franchise.
NOW. Before you groan and be like, "UGH BUT ASH AND PIKACHU ARE SO OVERUSED!" FRET NOT, MY COMPADRES! This new anime, titled (I think tentatively) Pokemon: The Origin, is going to feature the protagonist and rival from the RED AND BLUE (or maybe Firered/Leafgreen. from the screenshots posted, it looks like the latter). Which meaaaaans:
NO ASH!
JUST RED. And Green/Blue (depending on where you are, the name changes. Japan, the "Gary Oak" equivalent rival's name is Green, and the girl is Blue, and in 'Murica, the names are reversed. Don't ask why. prolly shoddy translators).
SO REJOICE MY FELLOW POKENERDS. FOR SALVATION HAS ARRIVED.
