Fifty years have made their round
And humans have since gone at last
Left behind are only the brutes
Who walk among destruction and death
The meaning of their lives rendered moot
With senseless pain until their last breath
Bonds are formed to try and survive
The marks that were left behind
A struggle it will always be to stay alive
And to stay sane within one’s own mind
And so you stand, waiting to fall
A future that’s impossible to mend
What will be the conclusion to it all?
And will you fight until the very end?
